RBC Partners With Gin Systems to Offer Recruitment Skills Training
CAMPUSPEAK is excited to announce the brand new initiative of Recruitment Boot Camp: Skills Training. This new program, hosted through Facebook, is a partnership with GIN System that empowers fraternity and sorority recruitment chairs to learn the skills essential for success and then train their entire chapter on those skills. Chapters are given a wealth of training resources while national organizations, volunteers and advisors can track the progress of the undergraduates.
Hosted as a Facebook Application, Skills Training is a peer education, train-the-trainer program hosted online. Undergraduate leaders will learn how to facilitate three brief sessions for their chapter in basic recruiting skills. Once certified, they will have access to the training presentations, a facilitator guide and handouts. Certified participants will have access to the program for one year so that they can repeat training as many times as needed.
“RBC: Skills Training is going to make a huge impact upon the ability of the average member of a chapter to be more effective at recruiting more, and better members,” said David Stollman, CAMPUSPEAK partner and creator of the RBC program. “We all know that there are people who have better natural abilities. But, for the rest of our members it can be hard. With training done at the chapter level, led by their own members, we can not only reach more people, but do so in a much more effective way. These improved communication skills are going to help them in recruiting, getting a job and in the rest of their lives!”
Chad Corbitt of The GIN System, who was instrumental in developing this program, added, “We are very excited to be partnering with CAMPUSPEAK on their Recruitment Boot Camp application. We believe it is a great idea that is innovative and can really help chapters. Not only does it provide chapter officers training but it also shows the officers how to present to the rest of the chapter about what they learned, which in our mind is revolutionary. Our favorite feature is the ability for national organizations to be able to see the progress of their users on the application. The world is moving to Facebook and we are happy to see CAMPUSPEAK leading the way.”
