Let's Talk About “IT!”
A Program About Sexual Assault
Are you ready to have an honest discussion about sex and sexual assault? Do you know someone who has been assaulted? How do you help a friend? If you were assaulted, what would you do? In their original program, “Let’s Talk About IT” Kelly and Becca provide the answers you are looking for. One of these women was sexually assaulted in her bedroom by a “friend.” Learn how they answered these questions, what happened afterward and how it inspired them to share their story with you.
I was beyond impressed with both Kelly and Becca. Not only was I beyond pleased with their frank discussion regarding sexual assault, I was thrilled with the way they openly discussed sexual freedom. I think students can easily relate and connect with both Kelly and Becca and their program is very professional and perfect for any college campus.

Kelly Addington and Becca Tieder provide students with the drive, tools and knowledge to make a difference on today's college campus. Kelly and Becca address the issues of sexual violence as they have never been seen before. They share their experience with date rape and talk about how students can prevent sexual assault, offer support for survivors and provide specific information about how to help a friend. Kelly and Becca do not believe sexual assault is a man against woman issue. They have no doubt that together we can ALL change the culture of violence and encourage true sexual empowerment.
"I felt that this program was very informative and broadened my awareness to a serious issue. Both Kelly and Rebecca were humorous but also serious in a way that had a profound effect on myself as well as those around me. They talked about a difficult topic but did so in a comprehensive and empowering way."

“Let's Talk About IT” inspires students to honestly discuss sexual assault and the issues surrounding it. Using humor, bold-faced honesty and real-life scenarios Kelly and Becca provide an atmosphere in which students feel comfortable and confident talking openly about sex. They understand that combating sexual violence on campus requires community action, and believe that their program lights that spark. Their hope is that this program starts the conversation that leads to a call to action in every college community.
Alcohol is a factor in more than 75% of all campus crimes, including sexual assault, so Kelly and Becca hit the topic head on sharing the importance of drinking responsibly and redefine the role of the designated driver. They help students understand the consequences of mixing sex with alcohol or other drugs. Kelly and Becca break down the 5 date rape drugs; explain what they do to your body, how they make you feel and how to protect yourself from them.
They share how each community can move towards real solutions by introducing a simple three-step process to reducing sexual violence on campus. Kelly and Becca share the power of friendship and offer hope as they empower students to become a part of the solution.
