I attended [Mark Sterner's] speech at Endicott College tonight and it hit home. I haven’t been physically involved, but emotionally in 2 drunk driving accidents. The most recent was last summer of 2009 [when] I lost 2 of my friends. The second was as a Junior in high school in 2005 and involved my boyfriend, [however] nobody died. The age range involved was 16-19. I’m unable to talk to them because it’s too emotional for them, so I thank you for doing what you do and taking your time to talk to us.

I want to thank you [Mark Sterner] for speaking at my school today. At the end of your presentation you said that you will never know if we listened -- I want you to know that I plan to listen. It can happen to anyone no matter how smart or how "cool" or how lucky they are. You really affected us tonight. I hope you will return and continue to change the course of peoples' actions. Thank you again so much.
