Ask Us About This Speaker
As the VP on IFC at MSU, I knew I needed to take action to eliminate alcohol and drug related deaths on campus. I truly believe that Erica’s presentation tonight will make this ambitious idea come to fruition. Our members responded so well to Erica, not only did they not mind sitting through a talk on alcohol and drugs, hundreds of our members tweeted about it. I can’t imagine one detail that would make Erica more effective in saving lives.

After I saw Erica in Texas, I knew we had to get her to come to my school. She has impacted my life so much in the way I look at drinking now. She is the best speaker I have ever seen. The way she presents her story is so emotional, moving and well educated. I had so many students come up to me and say she was amazing!!!!! Erica is a very powerful woman that will continue to spread her story and help open the eyes to many students.

Erica Upshaw was a speaker for our targeted audience of Greeks and Athletes. She did a wonderful job and gave students 3 easy steps to leave with 1) Party Smart 2) Say Something 3) 911 Get Help.

Erica came to our orientation program at the beginning of this year. My roommate and I didn't know if we wanted to skip just another presentation or not, lucky for us we didn't skip. Erica's presentation was not only relatable and inspirational, it was also educational. I felt so connected with Erica and never once did I feel that she was judging us for wanting to have a good time!

Erica came to speak at an event during Greek Week at Hofstra and she was FANTASTIC. Sororities and fraternities are a very tough audience, but I have never seen them so engaged and willing to participate as during her presentation. We host speakers that target drug and alcohol abuse frequently, and I think we all agreed that Erica was our favorite yet. Perfect balance of a serious message with humor and fun.

Erica, I really enjoyed your presentation on alcohol related issues. You came across as very relatable because you're not somebody that hasn't ever drank alcohol trying to preach to a crowd that it's the worst thing in the world. You re-educating and making people aware of dangerous decisions that lots of people make in their college years. Thanks for bringing light to the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse.

I saw Erica as a student, as a professional at the Fraternity Headquarters, I am happy to host Erica. Students are not afraid of the law or jail time. Students think they're invincible and their risky behavior will never turn fatal. Unfortunately Erica and her brother engaged in risky behavior while in college. Hopefully she can change the mentality of young individuals now. Our students have responded well to her presentation.

Erica Upshaw was the speaker for our annual Do It Sober event we put on at the University of Nebraska for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Erica was a great speaker. Her best attribute asa speaker was that she truly understood the college perspective and made the entire crowd feel very comfortable. I recommend Erica to any greek and non-greek organization with the fullest confidence that she will do an awesome job.
