Ladder of Risk: Campus Edition helped to clarify a critical, often misunderstood and misapplied, component of our chapters' operations. Our chapters have long operated on a simpler way of coordinating social events, and recent incidents have shown all of us that policies and procedures must be tightened up. LORCE was casual and interactive, but serious and educational at the same time.

Training student leaders on the fundamentals of risk management.
Fraternity and sorority leaders undertake a wide variety of responsibilities. From recruitment to academics to philanthropy to fund-raising, student leaders stand in the front lines of creating success for their chapters. One of the most important elements of success is the understanding of their responsibility, and one of their most important responsibilities is the safety of their members and guests.
Based on the FIPG risk management policy and developed by Dr. Lori Hart and Steve Whitby, the Ladder of Risk program risk management is simplified and students are encouraged to buy-in, with student learning models in mind. By special arrangement with Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, CAMPUSPEAK is able to provide an adaptation of one of the best workshops for teaching the basics of risk management available to the sorority and fraternity community, as well as a Social Event Planning Guide.
Ladder of Risk: Campus Edition is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of good risk management procedures, including an intensive look into compliant social event planning. This workshop will clarify FIPG policy and debunk the old risk management myths and habits that some chapters still live by.
