CAMPUSPEAK

We are so excited to be continuing our RESPONSE ABILITY® conversation in a more intimate, intentional and expanded format. It is our hope that this is the start of a campus movement. After all, we each have the power and responsibility as individuals and bystanders to make a change in our community.

Helping students take the leap to go beyond bystander behavior and unlock solutions to problems on their campus

The PersonalPower: A RESPONSE ABILITY® Workshop has been empowering college students to go beyond bystander behavior and to intervene in problem situations. While the project fosters personal development, it also teaches students to empower others to do the same.

Mike Dilbeck, creator and producer of the RESPONSE ABILITY® Project, joined the CAMPUSPEAK roster in June 2009. He shares very powerful practices for when students see unhealthy or negative behavior among their peers in his PersonalPower: A RESPONSE ABILTY® Workshop. These messages have already dramatically changed campuses all over the country.

CAMPUSPEAK offers this workshop to explore personal and organizational values, what bystander behavior is, what barriers keep us from intervening, intervention styles and skills and concludes with an action plan and commitment to lead with integrity. This workshop is targeted to impact behaviors like hazing, drug/alcohol abuse, sexual abuse/assault, bullying and discrimination on college campuses.
